The Introduction is by George Stella, a professional chef, and the most well-known low-carb cookbook author in America. He used to have his own cooking show, too, on the Food Network. George wrote an article on Tips for Eating Low-Carb as a Family. Certainly everyone in his family lost a tremendous amount of weight and all because George changed the way they were eating. Again, this cookbook has a Helpful Hints section. Dr. Steve Parker wrote an article: Ketogenic Diet Overview. Again, in this book we have a number of great recipes from our low-carb friends in the low-carb community. First printing was in November 2013, and this book was completely revised and is better than ever! Again, this cookbook has a Helpful Hints section with many of the sweeteners discussed and the amount of tsp, tbsp, cups the drops of liquid sweeteners represents; these tables are invaluable in the kitchen, as go buy a bottle of liquid sweetener and then try and figure out how much you need for 1/3 cup sugar sweetness equivalent - next to impossible! Dr. Steve Parker wrote an article: Ketogenic Diet Overview. Again, in this book we have a number of great recipes from our low-carb friends in the low-carb community. This book is one I refer to very frequently, because of the low-carb sauces and crepe recipes.
