Boerewors it's a sausage made of beef
Boerewors is made from minced beef (sometimes combined with minced pork, at Taste of Africa we make a verity of this sausage ,as you can see in the image it's in a spiral form we pack the sausage in likes form . if you like it in a spiral form please tell us in advance
Some of the spices we use are from South Africa . We blend our one spices for the traditional Boerewors spice like ( toasted coriander seed, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and allspice).
Boerewors is most traditionally (grilled over charcoal or wood), but is often cooked under an electric grill, or roasted in an oven or fried in a pan , or in a soup or stew . When cooking Boerewors, pricking the casing should be avoided at all cost, as doing this will lead to the "sausage" drying out during preparation.
A local variant of the hot dog is the boerewors roll, or "boerie", which is a piece of boerewors in a hot dog bun, often served with a tomato, chili and onion relish or chakalaka. Some people prefer Boerewors stew which can be prepared with mash potatoes . There are many way to prepare your Beef Sausage
