Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 green bell peppers, seeded and cut into strips
2 red bell peppers, seeded and cut into strips
1 onion, sliced, separated into rings
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
500g boerewors
Directions
Step 1 .Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot) and select Saute function. Once pot is hot, add oil, and fry your boerewors till brown , remove your boerewors and your green and red bell peppers, and onion. Cook until vegetables are tender . Add tomato sauce, garlic, seasoning and salt.
Cut your boerewors into pieces add into your pot and close and lock the lid.
Step 2. Turn off Saute function and select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 5 minutes.
Step 3Release pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
