Ghost Pepper Bourbon Glazed Ham
Ingredients 6-8 lb bone-in spiral cut ham 1 (13-oz) jar cherry preserves 1/2 cup bourbon 2 tbsp honey 1/4 tsp ground cloves 1 tbsp AFRICAN GHOST PEPPER SAUCE
Method 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place ham on a rack in a large roasting pan. Cover pan with foil. 2. Bake ham until internal temperature reaches 120° to 130°, about 2 hours. 3. To make the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cherry preserves, bourbon, honey, cloves, and AFRICAN GHOST PEPPER SAUCE. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until liquid is slightly reduced. 4. After ham reaches 120 degrees F, remove from oven and brush with half of the glaze. 5. Place back in oven, uncovered for 15 minutes. 6. Let ham cool for 10 minutes before carving.
